Is wet grass a problem?
No not for us. Wet or dry doesn’t bother us, our machine will cut wet or dry growth.
I’m not sure what’s hidden in the growth.
That’s ok, our machine will make short work of anything it finds including wood, steel, rocks, wire, general rubbish, compost piles, we’ve even been known to find fire extinguishers from time to time and our machine destroys those too.
You do need to note that while we always use caution we cannot be held responsible for anything we hit (and destroy) that either you didn’t tell us was there so we could mark or that we cannot see.
Can you come back in a month and cut it again?
Yes we can, we have a large number of regular customers who we visit each month for maintenance mowing, we have an automated system that books you in every four weeks and you can cancel or modify your requirements as needed at any time. We will not lock you into any form of contract.
Do you do weed eating as well?
Yes we can undertake weed eating also, this will be listed on your estimate or quote
I only want you to do part of the area, is that ok?
Yes we are more than happy to only cut part of an area
Is there a minimum size section?
Not at all, we cut anything from a small overgrown back yard through to lifestyle blocks
I need laser levels done or to site a house on an overgrown section so we can start building, can you help?
Yes we can, having a clear section is the first step in the building process and we can make that happen for you.
Does Heavy Duty Mowing have comprehensive insurance cover?
Yes we do, in the event a flying object does damage to any of your property we have insurances in place to cover the damage
I have my own mowing business but need a hand for an initial cut because my mower won’t do it, can you help?
Yes we can, we sub contract to a number of other mowing contractors and will happily add you to our list of strategic alliances giving you an edge over others in your area. We can help you to grow your business without you needing to invest heavily in more gear.
What happens to the clippings?
They are left on top of the ground either in windrows or spread like hay dependent of growth. These clippings will break down in a reasonably quick time frame and will provide nutrients needed for quality grass growth.
Can I have a beer or wine and watch you do the hard work?
Go for it!! Sit back and relax, leave it to us to do what we specialise in.
